Senior al-Qaida leader killed in drone strike in Pakistan, jihadis, US officials say
Fri Dec 7, 2012
It seems like every time the oldest person in the world dies, the media soon discovers the next oldest person in the world. Same thing with terrorist leaders. It's like watching someone play "Bop the Squirrel". Satisfying? Yes, but frustrating? Also yes.
Coast Guard concludes HMS Bounty captain went down with ship

Plutonium health risks may not be as bad as iodine
Mon Mar 28, 2011
The half life of Plutonium 239 (the fissionable isotope) is 24,100 years. It will remain dangerous for about 10 times that. No miners have inhaled Plutonium 239, as it had all degraded long ago. It is now produced from enriching Uranium.
